Component Authoring

Mission3 OnDemand provides an integrated and intuitive authoring tool to support creation of content. It has the following benefits:

• Structured (XHTML-based) environment with a familiar "Word look-and-feel".
• Ability to define templates to enable component authoring and consistency of content – We provide over 300 pre-configured templates for eCTD and CTD authoring.
• Full support for common editing needs including heading styles, hyperlinks, in-line images, tables, and copy/paste from Word.
• Use of configurable "style sheets" that govern formatting of content on screen as well as for PDF publishing. This allows authors to focus on creating high-quality content without needing to worry about formatting. Stylesheets automatically create headers and footers, page numbering, dynamic landscape or portrait layout. The system also supports various stylesheets for different country or regional output requirements.
• Ability to associate comments with authored content. This is an important capability for reviewers to quality check content prior to approving documents. The comments are not included in the authored content. Comments work like collaborative discussions rather than simple comment bubbles.
• Integrated with Document Management platform so authored content can be checked-in/checked-out, versioned and automatically rendered to PDF.
